IOup LLC is a company registered in Wyoming, United States. We operate the Woko mobile application and the Woko website at woko.ioup.io.

2. Our Privacy Commitment

Woko was designed with privacy as a core principle. The app performs on-device OCR and ingredient matching — photos never leave your phone. There is no account, no tracking, and no advertising in the app.

3. Information Stored on Your Device (App)

The app stores the following information locally on your device only:

  • Scan history: thumbnails, timestamps, ingredient counts, and parsed results snapshots
  • Settings: enabled comparison regions, theme preference, database version, and last sync time
  • Regulatory database: a bundled SQLite database used for ingredient lookups

This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to us or any third party.

4. Information We Do NOT Collect (App)

  • We do not collect personal information from the app
  • We do not collect usage analytics or telemetry from the app
  • We do not upload photos or ingredient scans
  • We do not share any data with third parties
  • We do not display advertisements
  • We do not require an account or login

5. Database Sync (App)

The only network activity in the app is an opportunistic periodic download of the regulatory database (on launch and every 24 hours, Wi-Fi only by default). If sync fails, the app continues working with the last downloaded database. No personal data is sent during sync.

6. This Website

The Woko website at woko.ioup.io uses Google Analytics (provided by Google LLC) to measure basic, aggregate traffic — such as page views, referrers, and approximate, IP-derived location. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes this data on Google's infrastructure; its handling is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. We use this only to understand overall site usage. We do not use advertising networks, contact forms, or other third-party trackers on this website, and we do not collect information that personally identifies you. This applies to the website only — the Woko app collects nothing.

7. Hosting and Server Logs

This website is hosted by third-party infrastructure providers. These providers may automatically collect standard server log data (such as IP addresses, browser type, and access times) as part of their normal operations. This data is managed by the hosting provider and is not accessed or used by IOup LLC for any purpose.

8. Children's Privacy

Woko does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. All app data remains locally on the device under the control of the device owner.

9. Your Rights

Since all app data is stored locally on your device and we have no access to it, you maintain complete control. You can delete individual scans, clear all history, or uninstall the app to remove all data.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page.
